I have enjoyed countless of hands of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or beat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
