I have wagered on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
