I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
