I have bet on countless of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at twenty-one. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
