I have enjoyed millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must comprehend that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
